Collection: Gentleman Cat

Meet Eric, Holdsworth House's dapper and beloved feline, immortalised in "Gentleman Cat" by the talented Jo Bird. A whimsical nod to the hit BBC/HBO series "Gentleman Jack," written and directed by long time friend of the hotel, Sally Wainwright OBE. This wonderful illustration captures Eric's charming persona, dressed in period attire befitting a feline of his standing. Eric, a one-time stray now turned local celebrity, spends his days graciously greeting guests at reception and occasionally stealing the spotlight in wedding photographs.

This delightful print is not merely a representation of Eric's endearing character; it's a piece of Holdsworth House lore, interwoven with the cultural tapestry of Calderdale's rich filming history. Pick-up a conversation starter and bring a piece of Holdsworth House's charm into your home. Perfect for fans of "Gentleman Jack," admirers of Anne Lister's story, and cat enthusiasts alike, this print is a tribute to Eric's reign as the hotel's unofficial greeter and a cherished memory of your stay.
