Collection: Louise Allen "Holdsworth House"

Louise Allen's "Holdsworth House" is an artwork that marries traditional charm with contemporary artistry. Measuring 40 cm square, her mixed media creation intertwines the historic façade of the house and the geometric precision of its garden. Utilising bright and airy tones, Allen brings a modern twist with Posca paint pens and gel plate print techniques.

This piece, rooted in her love for intaglio printmaking and life drawing, exemplifies her talent for capturing structure and space with a unique vibrancy. Allen's practice, often leading to the deconstruction of printing plates to infuse movement, is evident in the dynamic energy that courses through the static architecture of Holdsworth House.
