Collection: Pamela Bumby - "Tete a Tate, Holdsworth House"

Pamela Bumby's "Tête-à-Tête, Holdsworth House," an oil painting finished second in the over-18s category, is a vibrant and sunny portrayal of Holdsworth House's majestic Jacobean architecture juxtaposed with its splendid gardens. Bumby's technique captures the spirit of a perfect afternoon, with figures engaging in leisurely tea, epitomising the manor as an ideal backdrop for various occasions.

Through her canvas of 255 × 355 mm, Bumby tells a story of social warmth and the timeless appeal of Holdsworth House. Her artistry brings out the brilliant hues of the garden, the structural grace of the manor, and the joyful human connections made within this historical setting. This piece reflects not just the visual allure but also the essence of the Holdsworth House experience—elegance, history, and hospitality mingling under the Yorkshire sun.
